MEET THE TEAM

Olivia Metzger

Olivia Metzger formed OManagement as a new type of agency representing both on and off-air talent in the news and media industry. Ms. Metzger left CAA in 2018 to launch her own firm, bringing more than 25 years of talent management experience. She represents some of the best-known names in news, including anchors, reporters, and producers. In 2019, Variety recognized her transition by naming Metzger to their “Power Women of New York Impact List”, a list she was also named to in 2014 for her work at CAA.

Metzger is an agent who prides herself on close relationships built over years of experience. She began her career at NBC and spent nearly two decades selecting, recruiting, and developing on-air talent, contributors, producers and executives. In starting OManagement, Metzger has widened her focus to identify, cultivate, and find opportunities for up and comers in news and media. “It is a privilege to be a part of the journey my clients are on, and it is a focus of OManagement to seek out excellence in news talent at all levels. Every experience brings with it growth and opportunity, and talent development is an extremely important part of such a dynamic in this fast-moving industry.”

Metzger previously held talent development roles at NBC News, CNBC, and MSNBC before becoming Vice President of Talent Recruitment and Development for the NBC Stations Group where she helped recruit for all of the NBC news gathering platforms. It was there that she developed an eye for identifying talent as well as managing contract negotiations, strategy and on-air talent retention. This background proved integral in her subsequent move to Creative Artists Agency (CAA). She spent eight years building up the agency’s television news department, negotiating deals for clients at Good Morning America, The Today Show, CBS Evening News, Fox and Friends, CNN, The Weather Channel, NBC Sports, and shows across every major news outlet.

Metzger is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University (BA, English), and is active in promoting educational options for children with learning differences. She lives in NJ with her three children.
